The network allows Employers who self insure to designate to their employees who they should go to for their medical care. They, then direct these employees through the use of their plan provisions to enhance the benefits if these selected providers are used. These selected providers are monitored by the network to insure the highest levels of care given to each employee and their family. Costs are also controlled by the use of these selected providers.

Selected providers give discount percentages to these employers affiliated with Nevada Medical Network and for that discount become a selected provider paid a higher percentage of their medical bills by the employers plan. Claims are adjudicated more quickly and paid expeditously so as to not have to continually bill and re-bill for their services.

The selected providers normally give reasonable discounts to insure that they get their fair share of this business. They also save administrative time and staff as their billing and turn around time for claims is very short.

Third Party Administrators are part of this equation and are monitored on a monthly basis as to their trun around times with claims and their timely payments to the selected providers.

Employers who consistently are late in paying their claims are removed from the network and are not allowed to receive these discounts or be part of the network.
